Sagebrush Trails & Services has been in business since 2008. In 2014 Sagebrush Trails brought on two new partners, Derek Thomson and Ric Stattin, Combined, we have over 25 years of experience in the trail construction industry. We have extensive experience in a broad range of trail related services, from designing and construction to master planning, construction management and development of trail systems.

- 2016 - 2017 - High Star Ranch - currently building 16 miles of mountain bike specific trails, directional and open to the public, Kamas, UT
- 2015 - Public Trail at Victory Ranch - currently building 6 miles of mountain bike optimized trails in Victory Ranch in Kamas, UT
- 2015 - Galena summer Trails Project; built approximately 14 miles of mountain bike optimized trails around the Galena Lodge north of Sun Valley, ID
- 2015 - Draper Cycle Park Pump Tracks and Dirt Jumps, designed and built two pump tracks and 3 dirt jump lines at Draper City Cycle Park
- 2014 - Cyclo-Cross Stairs- Draper, UT, Draper City Cycle Park
- 2013 - 2014 - Maple Ridge Ranches, Oakley, UT, over 7 miles of re-conditioning old trails and construction of new singletrack
- 2012 - Sagebrook Trail, 1 mile natural surface, private, neighborhood trail
- 2012 - Payroll Trail, 4,000' flow trail at Deer Valley Resort
- 2011 - Dutch Hollow, Wasatch Mountain State Park, Wasatch County, UT, constructed approximately 3,400' of new trail and trail re-routes
- 2011 - Huber Grove, Wasatch Mountain State Park, Wasatch County, UT, re-construction of approximately 200' of road base trail
- 2011 - Huber Grove, Wasatch Mountain State Park, Wasatch County, UT, construction of approximately 1,100' feet of trail re-routes and re-treading of over 1.5 miles of existing trail
- 2011 - Mountain Ranch Estate - construction of a short 800' trail connection and maintenance of over two miles of trail including vegetation and rock removal
- 2011 - Sunpeak HOA, Park City, UT, maintenance and re-build of a section of trail
- 2010 - Park city, UT, planned, designed and constructed 500' more trail in the Treasure Mountain International School Wetland Preserve, this project also included 120' of boardwalk and two observation platforms
- 2010 - Park city, UT, designed and re-built the Super G Trees downhill trail at Deer Valley Resort,
- 2010 - Park City, UT, designed and constructed a bridge on the Sun Creek Trail in Sunpeak HOA,
- 2009 - Wasatch County, UT, trail re-route Ross Creek Trail in Jordanelle State Park
- 2009 - Park City, UT built a driveway extension utilizing turf pavers, fabricated and installed two steel gates and a culvert grate
- 2009 - Park city, UT, Sunpeak HOA, constructed 500 feet of natural surface trail and fabricated and installed 9 custom trail markers
- 2009 - Eagle, ID, helped construct a down hill trail at the Idaho Velodrome and Bike Park
- 2009 - Park City, UT, constructed 700 feet of soft surface trail and a 20 foot bridge in wetlands at Treasure Mountain International School
- 2009 – Payson, UT, fabricated 44 custom wooden trail markers
- 2008 – Antelope Island State Park, UT, finish work on 2.5 miles of newly cut trail
- 2008–Park city, UT, Sunpeak HOA, planning, design, and construction on a 6000’ long, multi-use trail segment connecting the neighborhood to the public trail system in varying terrain
- 2007 – Wanship, UT, Blue Sky Ranch, designed approximately 3 miles of trail and construction of approximately 7000’ of multi use, natural surface trail in varying terrain
- 2007 – Wasatch County, UT, Canyon Trails, designed a 4 mile trail system and constructed approximately ½ mile of that system (development went bankrupt)
- 2007 – Park City, UT, Mountain Ranch Estates HOA, planned designed and constructed approximately ¼ mile neighborhood connector trail

Derek Thomson (member)
Since 2008 Derek has worked for other trail firms or independently all over the country where he has designed and constructed a wide variety of trails from pump tracks to DH trails to multi-use trails, managed crews and riden his bike. Ric Statten (member)
Ric has been a mountain bike enthusiast for years and decided he would share his passion by getting involved in the construction end of the industry. He was fortunate to get valuable experience in helping build the expansion phase of the Trailside Bike Park.
